THE POWER OF TREES

Stroll among the old and young trees in the Castle Park Arboretum

Let yourself drift along paths and meadows—soak up the power of the trees and listen to the rustling of leaves in the wind.

In the Castle Park, you’ll find a collection of many trees and shrubs from different continents and countries, known by the Latin word “arboretum”. It creates a link between the two very contrasting green spaces, the Spa Park and the Castle Park, which are separated from each other.

The Spa Park from the first half of the 1930s features strict lines in its path layout and artificially created flower beds. On the other side is the Castle Park, designed to be as close to nature as possible, with loosely arranged, natural-looking groups of trees and shrubs.
