Art enjoyment at every turn
Anyone walking through Bad Vilbel will discover a wide range of genres and styles. Numerous artworks are displayed in public spaces.
They can be discovered especially in the park areas, in the Spa and Castle Park, around the moated castle, as well as in the floodplain landscape of the Massenheim district, and in the Alte Mühle Gallery.

For 17 years, a sculptural project has been unfolding around Bad Vilbel’s moated castle: Paradise. What began with 44 figures grew into an ensemble of 69 sculptures that completely encircles the castle – rich in detail, lively, mysterious.
The near-natural landscape of the Erlenbach floodplain is an open-air gallery where “floodplain art” is a permanent part of the townscape. Artists from the region and beyond present sculptures, three-dimensional works and installations that, in interplay with nature and the seasons, create ever-changing impressions.
Bad Vilbel surprises in public spaces with impressive street art. Colorful murals, large-scale wall paintings, and creative graffiti transform grey building facades and bridge piers into an open-air museum accessible to all.
