Close-up of several inline skaters on an asphalt road in the Rhine-Main region, showing their inline skates and lower legs as they ride together—possibly as part of a race or group activity related to “Hiking Rhine-Main.”

ALONG THE RIVER

Inline Skating

Along the Nidda on perfectly paved paths, always following the river—no inclines. Completely free of car traffic—as long as your wheels keep rolling.

Glide along at a relaxed pace, enjoy the scenery, or skate more sportily.

In the direction of the Nidda’s source or its mouth, any distance is possible. And if it’s so beautiful that you don’t want to stop, you can always take the S-Bahn or a regional train back.
