RELAX
Along all hiking trails, in the park areas and along the Nidda riverside paths, all the way to the districts of Dortelweil and Gronau, you’ll find a wide range of rest and picnic spots with suitable seating for a relaxing break.
Some of them are something special:
At six particularly beautiful locations, dialogue islands await visitors (01 to 06). They were created using a special 3D printing process from ocean plastic and are unique Bad Vilbel originals in the Hessentag colours. Three comfortable loungers are arranged in each spot so you can not only rest, enjoy and take in the view, but also have a lively conversation.
At two locations, seating steps (07 and 08) have been set into the riverbank slope, so you can enjoy the river gliding by right by the water and simply unwind.
The Nidda Rondell (09) is a seating area for taking in the view, based on a historic model, above the spa park. You’ll also find places to relax in the Massenheim Aue (10), a green ribbon along the Erlenbach.
