OUR PLACES OF INTEREST

The Nidda and its surroundings form a green belt through Bad Vilbel. Unlike other riverside locations, no roads disturb the pleasure of strolling through the parks situated on both sides of the riverbanks.

The closely spaced bridges allow you to switch sides of the riverbank to discover everything. At the level of the Town Hall Bridge lies the market square with its historic buildings and the distinctive cone-shaped Urquelle fountain. Here you find yourself in the heart of the old town, which can be explored via Lohstraße or by continuing along the Nidda riverbank to the Old Mill.

Along the Nidda and in the old town, most of the city’s places of interest are located within a compact area, which are described individually below. There is much more to experience if you take one of the themed hiking trails with their informational offerings.

Further information about the individual places of interest can be found on the orientation map.
