Mulde Skatepark
The new “Mulde” skatepark has a lot to offer:
The bowl is a modern interpretation of a classic backyard pool. Inspired by the classic kidney shape of the backyard pools where skateboarding originated, it has been designed with a modern touch to allow for more variations and different skill levels.
The speed/jump section is fast and serves as the connecting area, featuring a high density of ramps and elements.
The central jump box offers many possibilities for various skill levels. Thanks to the surrounding bumps, hips, and quarterpipes, there is no need to manually gain momentum; speed can be maintained simply by pumping the concrete curves. Professionals will also find plenty to enjoy here.
The street line features a variety of different skate elements arranged to mimic urban spaces, including stairs, ledges, and rails. For beginners, there are plenty of gentle slopes, ride-on grinds, and small gaps. Experienced users can take on the larger spots at the double set and constantly discover new possibilities.
The skatepark is located between Burgpark and the festival grounds on Heinrich-Heine-Straße.
It is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. Use is free of charge; please follow the rules posted on the signs.
