Summer Emotions – The Open Air Festival in Bad Vilbel
Every summer, the Summer Emotion Open Air Festival takes place in Bad Vilbel – Dortelweil for ten days. Numerous artists perform: music, cabaret, and readings. You can find more information here: https://www.summer-emotions.de
Sample first-class wines – The Wine Festival at the Castle
The Bad Vilbel Wine Festival always takes place in September, in 2025 from September 12 to 14, in and around the historic moated castle – enjoy three days of first-class wines with a great music program and pleasant conversation. The festival is organized entirely by volunteers from the Lions Club Bad Vilbel-Wasserburg.

The Bad Vilbel Quellenlauf will take place on September 14, 2025. Participants in this scenic run can choose between the 10 km route or the half marathon. The start and finish are in the Burgpark.
On this special day, there is a shopping Sunday in the city center.

Every year on the third weekend of Advent, the historic moated castle in Bad Vilbel is transformed into a magical Christmas paradise.
