Summer Emotions – The Open Air Festival in Bad Vilbel
Every summer, the Summer Emotion Open Air Festival takes place in Bad Vilbel – Dortelweil for ten days. Numerous artists perform: music, cabaret, and readings. You can find more information here: https://www.summer-emotions.de
Sample first-class wines – The Wine Festival at the Castle
The Bad Vilbel Wine Festival always takes place in September, and in 2026 it will be held from September 11 to 13 in and around the historic Wasserburg—three days to enjoy first-class wines with a great music program and engaging conversation. The festival is organized entirely on a voluntary basis by the Lions Club Bad Vilbel-Wasserburg.

The Bad Vilbel Quellenlauf will take place on September 13, 2026. Participants in this scenic run can choose between the 10km route, 5km walking, or the half marathon. The start and finish are located in the Burgpark.
On this special day, there is a shopping Sunday in the city center.

Every year on the third weekend of Advent, the historic moated castle in Bad Vilbel is transformed into a magical Christmas paradise.
