Motorhome Parking
Two basic motorhome parking areas are available in Bad Vilbel. Both are located near the Nidda river and serve as excellent starting points for city tours or cycling trips along the Nidda Cycle Path. The pitches are free of charge and accessible 24/7, but do not offer any infrastructure.
The first parking area is located at the outdoor pool – in the immediate vicinity of the city center, the city library, and Niddaplatz. During the summer months, it’s not just the pool that invites you to stay: the popular open-air cinema also takes place there in August and September.
The second parking area is located at the Festplatz, right next to the FFH grounds. The water playground and skate park are in the immediate vicinity. The historic moated castle is easily accessible on foot from here, as is the refreshing Kneipp pool.
“Am Freibad” Parking Area
- Free parking space with a max. stay of 48 hours.
- Max. length: 8.60 m
- No reservations possible
- Exclusive motorhome pitches (adjacent free car parking spaces)
- No waste disposal or water supply
- In the immediate vicinity of the outdoor pool, right on the Nidda / the Nidda Cycle Path
- Showers and toilets can be used for the price of admission to the outdoor pool (€3.50) (read more)
