MASSENHEIM MUSEUM \u2013 A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME IN A HALF-TIMBERED IDYLL<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Strictly speaking, it is an entire ensemble consisting of the Old Town Hall itself, the barn, the shepherd’s house, and a lovingly landscaped garden. Today, it is no longer a town hall but a museum \u2013 the local history museum.
\nBut it offers far more than just an exhibition on the village’s local history:<\/p>\n

\nThe museum impressively shows what life in the Wetterau region used to be like. From an old shoemaker’s workshop and forge to historical school and firefighting equipment, and even an old pharmacy, you can experience the daily life of past centuries firsthand.<\/p>\n

\nThe exhibition areas combine historical exhibits with modern media stations.
