\nRight in the heart of the historic center of the Bad Vilbel district of Massenheim stands the Old Town Hall \u2013 arguably the village’s most beautiful half-timbered house. Strictly speaking, it is an entire ensemble consisting of the Old Town Hall, the barn, the shepherd’s house, and a lovingly landscaped garden. Today, it is no longer a town hall but a museum \u2013 the local history museum.
\nBut it offers far more than just an exhibition on the village’s history:<\/p>\n

\nThe museum impressively shows what life in the Wetterau region used to look like. From an old shoemaker’s workshop and forge to historical school and firefighting equipment, and even an old pharmacy, you can experience the daily life of past centuries firsthand.<\/p>\n
