OUR PARKLANDS<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1692344853989{margin-top: 30px !important;margin-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Four park areas line up along the Nidda, uniting to form a green belt through the entire city. The individual areas could hardly be more diverse, which is precisely what makes a visit and a stroll so interesting. <\/p>\n

The Kurgarten (04), located in the far west on the right bank of the Nidda,<\/strong> was only created in 2022 and represents a modern interpretation of a former spa area. The subsequent, listed Kurpark (03)<\/strong> was laid out in the first half of the 1930s, while the Burgpark (01)<\/strong> was created in the 1970s during a Nidda regulation. Formal basic principles with strict lines in the path layout and artificially created and constantly replanted flowerbeds in the Kurpark, contrast with the Burgpark’s design, which is as close to nature as possible, featuring sightlines and loosely structured, natural-looking groups of trees with noteworthy tree populations.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]The significant collection of woody plants in the Kurpark and Burgpark is highlighted by the “Arboretum Bad Vilbel”<\/strong> (DOWNLOAD: FLYER<\/a><\/strong>), which explains woody plants of all kinds from all over the world to visitors and offers places to linger.<\/p>\n

And finally, the Gerberpark on the left bank of the Nidda (02),<\/strong> once the dirtiest area of the city, is now an oasis for physical activity and associated relaxation at the Gerberbrunnen.<\/p>\n
